Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the “life’s blood” of therapeutic grade essential oils that come from flowers, leaves, bark, stems and roots. These oil properties in the plants protect the plants from insects, bacteria, molds, fungi and micro-organisms, and thus benefit us in the same way! Essential oils are used by chiropractors, aromatherapists, reflexologists, massage therapists and others interested in alternatives to prescription drugs.
Essential oils affect us emotionally, physically and spiritually. We experience the oils through smelling them directly through our nose, or inhaled through a diffuser. Oils can be applied directly on the skin, one drop at a time, or be diluted with a vegetable oil such as coconut oil or olive oil in case of skin sensitivity. High quality unadulterated oils can be ingested safely when assisted by a professionally trained aromatherapist practitioner. Therapeutic, pure oils are not mixed with other substances which are synthetic and could get us sick or cause skin burns or sores. One needs to take safety precautions when using essential oils to make sure they are not synthetic.
Essential oils are powerful natural healers that support our body functions and bring the body into balance by providing better health, joy and well-being.

How to use a Nasal Inhaler with Essential oils
Kids love using their inhalers! They are safe, economical, and work on areas where kids need some help. Such as helping them concentrate, and keeping focused on school work, and activities in the classroom. It helps them calm down, and lifts them up when they are feeling blue, all naturally.
Nasal inhalers are great for everyone. It’s great to help with sleep, anxiety, depression, nervousness, muscle pain, allergies, colds, flu, headaches and sinus problems, just to name a few!
An inhaler has 3 parts: a cover, an inhaler where the cotton wick sits soaked in a few combined essential oils. Rachelle finds the right combination of oils that address each individual condition.
To use, close off one nostril with a finger and place the inhaler next to the open nostril. Not to be placed inside! You take in a deep breath, and then switch to the other side. Do both sides and breathe deeply three times, and you are good to go. And ahhhhhh, feel the difference!
