Back in Motion Massage Therapy

What the PD says about Rachelle:
"A heavenly way to kick off the morning"

Picture
By Zachary Lewis (from an article about massage therapy published in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, April 29, 2013)

Living proof of how therapists rarely employ just one technique, Rachelle Neher of Back in Motion in University Heights provided me a veritable massage grab-bag at her home studio stuffed with four unique modalities, everything from the most mainstream to the most unconventional.

Swedish popped up first. The form most people probably think of when they imagine massage, Neher's version featured long, smooth strokes on oiled skin, interrupted occasionally by vigorous chopping. I found it wholly pleasant and soothing. Ditto Deep Tissue massage, a cousin of Swedish that simply entails greater pressure.  From this, Neher transitioned seamlessly into Reflexology, a form of therapy in which the feet and hands serve as mirrors of the body. Push or tug on part of an extremity, the thinking goes, and the effects will be felt in the region that corresponds to it. In theory, it's therefore possible to receive a whole-body massage without taking off anything more than your socks. In my experience, however, the effects were noticeable nowhere else so much as my feet. For them, sore from countless miles on the road, the treatment was blissful.

Two other modalities Neher introduced in quick succession: Reiki and "Ortho-Bionomy."  The former, which seeks a transferal or re-balancing of energy, consisted of Neher placing and holding her hands above and on various parts of my body. I found it deeply calming but not particularly therapeutic in a medical or physical sense. The benefits of the latter were far more palpable. Holding her finger on tense spots in my upper back and neck, Neher enabled the target muscles to essentially massage themselves via the motion of my own breathing. As I inhaled and exhaled, the muscles slid back and forth over the knob of Neher's fingertip. It was massage of the most gentle, natural sort, and a heavenly way to kick off the morning.

...What clients say about Rachelle...

'Wish I could see you every day!'

Massage-South-Euclid-OH
What a blessing you are Rachelle. I truly appreciate your Healing Hands! Massages with you are amazing! I have been all around the world and received hundreds of massages with some of the best therapists . You truly have a gift and I have been able to progress with your treatments. It has been over a year and a half and I've suffered a great deal with such pain due to my injuries from car accidents.  I have been  searching for a person that could help my body turn the corner and recover; your business name says it all -- you  putting my body back in motion!  Each session brings exactly what my body needs for that day and I feel so good afterwards that I'm reminded of how my body used to feel before my injuries.  I just wish I could see you everyday so that I could live in this place, however I am patient and will continue to allow my body the time it needs to heal. Thank you for bringing healing to my body!

You are truly God sent and I'm very thankful to have found you. You give me hope that I shall recover one day through your healing energy work and therapeutic techniques that bring Rejuvenation relaxation and rest to my ever so aching and tired body!!

Thank you for always taking such good care of me and going above and beyond to ensure my body received what it needed within each session!

'Like a new person'

Picture
I have had two treatments from Rachelle at Back in Motion, and each time I came out feeling like a new person - and about a foot taller! She takes a holistic approach to massage and healing, tapping into clients' emotional as well as physical needs. Her manner is friendly and professional, and she is incredibly focused and joyful in her work. I am an active musician and Rachelle has helped me immensely with chronic arm, neck, and shoulder pain. I highly recommend her services.

'Five Star Review'

I am a 66-year-old practicing physician from Northwest Pennsylvania who consulted Rachelle because of left hip/trochanteric pain.  While smoldering for years, this became a “show stopper” after I “overdid it” with long-distance running a few months ago.  Conventional physical therapy, with a stretching program, and topical NSAIDs, alas provided only partial relief.  After reviewing my medical history, Rachelle, with stunning “bull’s eye”, digital accuracy, identified the problem zones and trigger points along the relevant, interconnected skeletal axes from foot to neck.  Even though I had not mentioned them to her, she also identified a couple of mildly problematic “trouble spots” along the back as well.  What a bonus!!!  At the end of the session, I was pain free, and felt “ten years younger”.  She suggested some postural exercises that would complement my previously prescribed stretching regimen.  Speaking as an experienced physician, Rachelle’s gentle, friendly manner, and integrative approach to the “whole" person, is only rarely encountered in today’s fast-paced and impersonal world.  The words “kind and caring,” while overused in today’s world, truly apply to her.  I give Ms. Neher, my highest recommendation.  Incidentally, her surname, in Hebrew, (nun, hay, resh) means “flowing together, to be lightened.” What an appropriate description of Rachelle’s clinical approach and professionalism. Five star review!!!

'Great relief'

Picture
I am amazed by the number of modalities Rachelle covers in an  hour-long session. The variety is surprisingly rejuvenating,  considering that each aspect is so supremely relaxing. Rachelle was thoughtful and thorough in her approach to treating pain  caused by scoliosis. Her Swedish massage was just the right amount of  pressure. Through reflexology, I felt great relief along my spine.  Through Reiki, I felt the pain shift from one shoulder to the other and then it was virtually gone. That evening, I slept very well. I also appreciated  her recommendations for local health  practitioners in the area since
I just moved to Cleveland.  It was a nice added touch when she  offered me a glass of water infused with lemon oil at  the end of the treatment.  It's very helpful  knowing she offers discounted packages  for multiple bookings. Highly recommended!
--Heather Sunders,  6/11/17

'Calm and peaceful serenity'

I recently enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing massage and reflexology treatment, which released tension I didn't even know I was carrying throughout my body. The therapeutic, aromatic oils and lotions enhanced the experience and contributed to a sense of calm and peaceful serenity that stayed with me all day after my morning appointment! This was my first massage, and Rachelle put me at ease and explained all of her movements and their significance. I highly recommend Back in Motion, even for people who are not experiencing chronic pain or other symptoms.
--Laura Williams,  11/16/16

'Invaluable relaxation skills'

Rachelle's multi-disciplinary approach to healing is a must-try. Her touch is great, but she does so much more. She has taught me some invaluable relaxation skills through breathing techniques and mental coaching. Her therapy is really holistic, not just based on the muscle manipulation aspect of massage (her massage work is top notch). --Rebecca  B., 12/19/16

'Cloud 9'

Rachelle was very thorough.  I went in with sore knees and came out with no soreness at all.  She is very caring and gentle.  I was on Cloud 9 all day.  I have not had that feeling for a long time.”
--Angie's list review

'For body and spirit'

Rachelle does great work for body and spirit. I came to her with a neck ache from a sleeper couch, stressed from personal and family issues and with a sleep deficit. I left feeling positive, rejuvenated, more energetic than I had in ages, and no neck ache. 100% recommended!
--Tanya S., 6/5/17

'Exceptional'

I had extreme laryngitis and my voice had totally disappeared for 8 days and decided to see Rachelle. She gave me a massage treatment for 90 minutes. She used  Foot Reflexology, Reiki on my throat area,  and used  essential oils.  It all helped to alleviate this pain and it returned my voice back to normal. My voice returned immediately at the end of the treatment! Rachelle offers a tremendous amount of knowledge and talent to your healing experience.  Her ability in massage therapy and the healing arts is exceptional. I appreciate the holistic solution she offers to those who embrace a wellness lifestyle.  If anyone has any questions and would like to reach out to me directly, I would love to share my experience  about Rachelle Neher's work at Back in Motion.

'I'm now totally pain-free'

Picture
Rachelle truly has Magical Hands and Fingers! I had received some terrible news and suddenly developed a terrible pain in my upper back that I could not get rid of. It was so bad I had a difficult time working or even sitting still. It nearly took all of Rachelle’s tools of the trade to help me. But now I am totally pain-free and emotionally free from the sadness, hurt and anger I was experiencing through her help and the support of essential oils. I also referred my husband to see her. He had much pain after a hip replacement and he got much relief from her. He is now walking with me in the parks! I highly recommend her healing work.
--Judy Singer, 4/19/16

'An excellent practitioner'

Picture
I first saw Rachelle this summer when I was experiencing horrible chest pain that I felt might be due to a difficult situation in my life.  I was on medication but experiencing no real relief.  Rachelle was very helpful and really listened to my concerns before treating me with massage therapy. She counseled me and gave me specific guided imagery to help me. She made nutritional recommendations that would help with the heartburn. Her use of essential oils and acupressure massage gave immediate relief to the pain.  Within six weeks I was feeling great!  She is an excellent practitioner and full of information and helpful suggestions.  I now go once a month for massage and it is such a healthful, relaxing way of maintaining my balance. Thank you, Rachelle!

'I fell deeply asleep'

Picture
During her stay in Paris, Rachelle had the opportunity to show me her talents. My lower back was very painful after having moved and lifted very heavy boxes. Rachelle coated my back with different essential oils. Her massage was very pleasant. Each time she ended with foot reflexology on my feet to relax me -- to the point that I fell deeply asleep! Thanks to her care, I healed my back more quickly. Thanks again, Rachelle.

'Quick recovery from flu'

Picture

--Roland Lazerges, France, 10/30/15
Translation: You gave me a great treatment during your recent trip to France. I had the flu and a sore throat; your massage employing essential oils brought me full recovery by the next day. I'm very appreciative.

'A little bit of heaven'

Picture
A massage from Rachelle is a little bit of heaven on Earth! It is calming and relaxing from the moment it begins. The music and essential oils add to the experience. She seems to know just what will bring relief, and I always leave "floating" from a wonderful experience.

'Truly gifted'

Picture
As a bassoonist, I experience much strain in arms, shoulders, and neck. My shoulders and neck were always very tense. Ms. Neher's hands were able to bring relief to such a degree that even my voice was relaxed and much lower than usual after a treatment with her. A truly gifted individual. Highly recommended!
--Fernando Traba, ChamberFest Cleveland 6/24/15

'Miraculous work'

Picture
When I came for a visit to Cleveland from Paris, I could not walk. The pain in my feet was very painful. Rachelle offered to give me a foot reflexology treatment. She found all the tender sensitive spots, and worked on them using essential oils, and arnica. She suggested soaking them in salts to help aid the healing. She continued massaging my legs, and I didn’t realize how sore they were too. After she was finished, I was amazed that my feet didn’t hurt, and I was able to walk without hesitation.  Rachelle does miraculous work and I highly recommend her gifted hands, and gentle care.
--Francoise Walter, Paris  10/1/14

'A very relaxing massage'

Picture
I'm a string player in a music conservatory. I end up practicing the same repetitive movements every day. Rachelle made me feel very comfortable and welcome in her beautiful massage suite from when I arrived to when the massage was over. She performed foot reflexology, where different parts of your feet correspond with different key parts of the body. As a musician, I spend much of my day standing and the attention given to my feet was only icing on the cake to a very relaxing massage that helped me unwind after a stressful few months of school and gigging. I always leave feeling like new.
--Henry Samuels, 7/29/14

Rachelle gave a massage to my 92 year-old mother. She was very sensitive and considerate of my mom's special needs. I observed as she provided a gentle and healing massage to her. With a little time to spare, she also gave me a short foot massage and described reflexology as she was doing it; Rachelle was knowledgeable, skilled and very enjoyable! I highly recommend her work.R

'Highest recommendation'

Massage-South-Euclid-OH
I would like to state my highest recommendation for Back in Motion. Not only is Rachelle excellent at massage therapy, but she is also an expert using Young Living essential oils. I was in the hospital after a bad motor accident with a right brain injury. My whole left side was paralyzed. She came to ICU every day to work on me for two and half months. She applied essential oils to my feet and toes and after about two weeks I could move my toes and feet. I think the doctors and nurses were surprised. According to my wife, the treatments and oils also calmed me down so that the doctors were able to cut down my doses of pain pills and sedation. My left arm was also affected. After I got home from the hospital, I would usually wake up in the morning with my left arm hurting. As recommended by my doctor, I took a pain pill before going to bed. This helped a little bit but Rachelle gave me PanAway oil to massage on my arm before going to bed. I did this for a few nights without taking the pain pills. This worked! I no longer woke up with pain and since then I have never taken the pain pills nor had to use the PanAway again. I am now able to walk and partially use my left arm. Of course a lot of my healing could be attributed to my doctors and therapists but there is no doubt in my mind that Rachelle's treatments greatly accelerated it.  Rachelle also gave me several full and partial massages while I was in the therapy center and also when I got home. These felt great and I always felt relaxed afterwards.

'She's the best'

Picture
I have been a client of Rachelle for a few years and I have always had great results. Two weeks ago I told her about a problem I was having with a burning feeling going down my right leg. She checked it out and knew right away what it was. I had a problem with my piriformis  muscle. It was pressing on the sciatic nerve. After two treatments my leg was feeling great. She told me what to do to keep the pain down. Rachelle is the best. She did a great job. I am blessed to have her to fall back on.
Thanks Rachelle!

'Vast knowledge of the body'

Picture
I have been a client for over 10 years. I have a back that "acts up" which was what prompted me to make my first appointment with Back in Motion. During this first appointment there was no room for doubt that Rachelle is an extremely gifted healer. Over the years Rachelle has helped me deal with 2 primary cancers, a partial lung removal and I am currently receiving Reiki treatments for a broken foot. While these may not be the reasons one might associate with massage therapy, her vast knowledge of the human body and inner spirit coupled with her astounding talent leaves anyone who has been treated by her feeling better than you might ever remember. Rachelle does have healing hands. Whatever reason you might desire an appointment with a massage therapist, do yourself a favor and call Back in Motion.

Lillies Rachelle Neher

'A total physical, emotional, and spiritual renewal'

Picture
I’m an advocate of complimentary and preventive medicine, and have been fortunate to have benefited from massotherapy sessions with numerous practitioners throughout the country.  Rachelle’s technique is the most thorough I’ve experienced, easing stress, and providing maximum relief to problem areas.  Her reflexology work is an added benefit as it releases blocks in numerous areas of my body.  The “icing on the cake” is when she finishes the treatment by balancing my energy through her Reiki touch.  I feel a total physical, emotional and spiritual renewal when I leave Rachelle’s table.  My treatments with Rachelle are an integral part of my personal commitment to continued healing.
--Judith Koenig, 5/20/10

'Rachelle has a gift'

Picture
I started to see Rachelle at Back in Motion because of pain in my neck and shoulders several years ago. Physical therapy was not helping at that time and I found relief from my discomfort at Back at Motion over time. The massage treatments are always very relaxing and individualized.
I give Back in Motion gift certificates as presents for special occasions. I continue to use Rachelle as a massage therapist regularly. Her use of reflexology helps to pinpoint areas in my body that need attention. This helps me to confirm what I already suspect. I have found the massage therapy particularly helpful after I've had dental work done. I was also in a fender bender car accident a year ago and went in to see Rachelle the next day. I feel that this saved me a lot of pain and discomfort as I had been in a similar accident a few years before and experienced on-going "whiplash" symptoms for weeks. Rachelle has a gift. Check her out.

'I couldn't believe it'

Picture
Back in Motion consistently delivers. I am a musician and lots of repetitive motion is the name of the game.  Tension in my neck and shoulders is something I deal with and leave each session in a dramatically improved state. I found a flyer at the Cleveland Institute of Music. I’d just finished playing an intense 3-week-long festival and had some serious pain in my left shoulder. I could not lift my arm to shoulder height without experiencing extreme pain.  I gave Rachelle a try. I left my first treatment so greatly improved I couldn’t believe it.  And after a couple more treatments the pain was totally gone.
--Ida Mercer, 7/12/11

'Like a rebirth'

Picture
I really love how Rachelle uses a variety of holistic methods during each session that addresses specific areas of pain or stress in the body. She tailors each appointment for whatever is needed at that time. Each treatment is as much a spiritual renewal as a physical one. These sessions are like a rebirth. I get back into the world feeling like a new woman!
--Natya Pala, 8/25/11

'The best thing for pain'
Rachelle's healing touch and energy work is the best thing I can do when my neck and back are "stuck" in pain. After her massage my body remembers what it feels like to be unstressed/relaxed. I am in better alignment and full of good energy.

'Treated very kindly'

Picture
As soon as I walked into Rachelle's I was welcomed warmly and treated very kindly. I have had all sorts of anxiety and really needed to get some healing. Rachelle was wonderful! She did the foot reflexology which was phenomenal! The atmosphere was very calming and soothing and I felt at ease right away. Rachelle also utilized the practice of ortho-bionomy. It was very calming as it used my own breathing to bring relief and healing to areas where I felt I needed it the most. Since I have asthma, Rachelle was very sensitive about it and used scents which were relaxing and didn't aggravate my asthma. Rachelle was very accommodating and kind. I would recommend her to anyone! I am looking forward to using her services again in the future!

'Incredible pain relief'

Picture
I injured myself seriously.  Rachelle helped me. She provided Reiki, foot reflexology, essential oils for specific pain in neck and shoulder, plus massage therapy.   I exercised and got incredible pain relief plus relaxation. I could do more without pain, and had more range of motion after each treatment.  Totally healing!

'Pain reduced by 80%'

Picture
I was diagnosed with shoulder impingement, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and joint problems. I was placed on many different pain medications, cortisone injections and other types of therapy. it provided temporary relief, but my pain had no improvement after two years of suffering. I turned to alternative healing practices and found Rachelle at Back in Motion. She used different modalities on me like Swedish massage, Foot reflexology, Ortho-Bionomy, along with essential oils. That provided a significant change to how I was feeling. She then started using acupressure  points on my shoulder and I noticed a dramatic improvement. I was able to lift my arms up, where I could not do that before. Although my pain still comes and goes, the ongoing sessions of acupressure has reduced my pain level by 80%. After six months, I can honestly testify that acupressure is the best method for healing various types of pain. Our society could benefit so much if the medical professionals would recognize and support the use of alternative methods for pain relief that is non invasive to the body.

My discovery of massage therapy and acupressure is the best experience I’ve ever had for pain relief. And I owe my health and gratitude to Rachelle Neher at Back in Motion for helping me to recover. And I highly recommend her expert care to others seeking relief.

'Awesome calm'

Picture
I have type-2 diabetes, so have some circulation issues with my calves, also some neuropathy in my feet. I also sit *alot* at my job as a librarian. Because of these reasons, I started to notice an achiness all throughout my body, during work and afterwards. I had been doing Qigong exercises, yoga and somewhat regular workouts, but decided after a bit that maybe some form of massage would also be helpful for this achiness. So I found the number to Rachelle and Back in Motion. As soon as we started speaking on the phone to schedule an appointment, I felt like she was skilled at healing - just the vibe she gave, an openness. And this feeling was confirmed by my experience during the massage. Even the energy in her house is healing. Everything about the actual massage was wonderful - she used oils, foot refloxology, and other modalities, all of which were quite beautiful-feeling, as well as soothing, calming, and healing in a very real, generative sense. I felt very present with her, and my body felt energized and at peace, without any achiness whatsoever. She was also just fun to talk to. At the end of the massage, I even teared up a bit, around the time when she was playing some music involving chimes. If anyone is looking for a healing massage, Rachelle is really worth visiting.

A true Caregiver

Picture
I have had 5 treatments from Rachelle over the past few years. Each time I leave the session with my muscular problem feeling oh so much better than before. She finds the problem anatomic site with intuitive hands, honing down to fine detail when she hears the clinical details. I have been to several physical therapists, but NONE compare to her. Her treatments are given with care, expertise and compassion. She clinically correlates with the client's general medical history. I say this as a physician who has been in practice for 40 years. You can tell the difference between a practitioner who is "going through the motions" versus one who is a true caregiver. Rachelle is a true caregiver. I recommend her enthusiastically!!!

Rachelle is very intuitive and will use all of her many skills to help you feel better. She is a very welcoming person and there to help you. You should give her therapies a try!

'Don't know what I'd do without her'
Rachelle is the BEST!! I do a lot of physical work, and often wind up sore and exhausted by the end of the day. Whenever my feet or back ache, I make an hour appointment and come out a whole new person. Sometimes I wind up going twice a week even! I'm so glad I live near this place. I don't know what I'd do without her!!

'A vacation in the tropics'

Picture
I'm one of those people who never goes to doctors, and believes that we are all healthy by nature without doing anything else. But this is something totally different. Even healthy people can get sore from overwork, or sports, and I tend to push myself to the limit at times. At those times, it's time to see Rachelle! A treatment from her is like a vacation in the tropics, or like a hearty meal after being really hungry. Aches, tension, soreness, knots in the muscles, they all just disappear. What follows is total bliss and relaxation. I don't try to understand what Reiki or Reflexology are or how they work; I just know that I walk away like a whole new person!

'All of me felt good when I left'
The key to Rachelle Neher's meaningful, successful massages is her use of "combined therapies." It's not an approach many can
handle without the different techniques crowding each other out.  The therapist needs training in each area and personal creativity applying each to specific problems.  Rachelle takes her wide learning and experience and combines that with her trained hands. I brought her several problems at once, lower back being the most painful.  Pain management and physical therapy hadn't helped as much as I'd hoped.  But weekly and eventually monthly massages left me feeling good--and stronger!  Other keys to her success?  She is constantly learning about new therapies and techniques through workshops and professional networking.  She remembers the needy areas of muscle, bone, etc., from one session to the next.  And she is knowledgeable about how body work can be backed up with a good diet and exercise. All of me felt good when I left, and did I mention her keen intelligence and sense of humor?  All these elements work together.  She's very good at what she does.

'Magic hands'

Picture
I don't know how I ever lived without Rachelle's treatments. Rachelle has magic, restorative fingers that find their way to problem joints and muscles and leave me feeling like an entirely new person. A specific problem that she eliminated was the chronic tightness I had in my neck. After half a dozen visits with Rachelle I realized that the tightness in my neck began to subside and eventually was gone entirely! Rachelle has become indispensable part of my wellness program!

'Tingled from head to toe'

Picture
Rachelle definitely has the special touch.  My body tingled from head to toe when I got up from her treatment. I especially enjoyed her working on my feet! She used Foot Reflexology, which was awesome! She used different methods to work the muscles of my body to make me feel WONDERFUL.  Rachelle is a very warm and giving person, she puts your feelings first and she is very accommodating. The atmosphere she provides is very soothing -- the music, oils, and her friendly smile make you feel at home. Rachelle 's  touch is a gift from G-d.

Healing for a violist

Picture
As a musician who performs all over the world and for many hours a day, I require massage to keep my body healthy and in great shape. (Our bodies are our instruments). Rachelle Neher is one of the most effective massage therapists I have ever experienced. In addition to excelling in a multitude of massage techniques and therapies, such as ortho-bionomy and reflexology, she is also skilled in the energy healing technique of Reiki. Rachelle has the intuitive knack of knowing exactly where the pain is and what healing technique to use. The combination is powerful. I recommend her most highly.
--Adie Elisha, 01/26/2009

"No one else comes close!"
Fifteen years ago when Rachelle began massotherapy school I was fortunate enough to have her 'practice' on me. I could not believe how strong and healing her hands were then. As she progressed she became more skilled and confident. I could tell the difference. Rachelle has been trained in so many different techniques that her hands have become unbelievably healing. They should be insured! Rachelle has always put her mind and spirit into every massage she does, and uses oils she brings from all over the world. She addresses so many conditions of the body; oils that take care of poor circulation, swelling, severe neck pain, sinus problems, etc. It’s a real experience, and no one else comes close to what she does.

I came to Rachelle experiencing pain in my right knee/leg.   It started after working in the garden the day before.   The pain started at the knee and ran down the left side of my leg each time I took a step.  After Rachelle worked on my leg using different oils and massage techniques, the knee felt better but still hurt.  As I got up to go home we noticed a swelling at the kneecap on the right side.  She applied an icepack for several minutes.   The swelling went down.  As I walked out I could feel the pain decreasing.  By the next morning the pain was completely gone.    It has been two days and I'm still pain-free.  Rachelle is amazing.

'Happy to have found Rachelle'

Picture
Though I have been a client of Rachelle’s for a short time, I’m convinced that she will be in my life for years to come. I first went to Rachelle because of back pain that was impacting my swimming. Doctors and chiropractors didn't make much improvement.  After one session with Rachelle, I was back in the water completing a full workout. As a matter of fact, my swimming improved so significantly that I probably over-did it and then hurt my shoulder. Back to Rachelle, and back to being at full capacity after one visit. Unfortunately, as I’m getting older, I’m feeling more aches and pains, so I’m so happy to have found Rachelle. I like that her massotherapy is individualized to my specific needs, and that she incorporates different techniques such as Reflexology and Reiki.

'She completely relaxed me'

Picture
The object of the visit was to reduce my anxiety.  She put me in a calming mood and proceeded to relax my mind and body using herbs, crystals, fragrances from essential oils, and massage and foot reflexology. She was very caring, asked the right questions and completely relaxed me as I slept.  That evening I had the most relaxing night’s sleep that I had in months.

'Good value, worth repeating'

Very effective and professional therapy.  My back pain greatly diminished after deep pressure and foot reflexology.  A good value with a skillful practitioner worth repeating!

'Most proficient therapist'

Picture
Reiki, then foot reflexology, then full body massage, then more Reiki. Rachelle is the most knowledgeable & proficient therapist I have been able to find in 15 years.

'Continued improvement'

Picture
My husband gave me 10 sessions of massage as a birthday present, and that's how I met Rachelle at Back in Motion.  At the time, I was suffering from chronic back and shoulder pain, as well as foot pain.  I ached all over.  After the first few sessions of relaxing massage with Rachelle, my pain began to lessen, and it has continued to improve.  Rachelle was patient, attentive and kind.  She answered all my questions professionally and made some life-style recommendations that have paid off.  Her massage studio is cheerful, and she plays peaceful music while she massages.  I would recommend Back in Motion to anyone who is looking for relief from muscle pain and tension.

'Masterful'

Picture
My body and spirit were feeling flat before you began the foot reflexology. Your touch, your voice, your guidance were masterful. One very striking thing I remember experiencing was that after you finished with my right foot, I commented that my entire lower leg felt as though it was glowing; it was warm and lighter, and my sense was that it was white.  The left leg at that point, by comparison, was grey in my mind.

I had almost instantaneous relief when you used ortho-bionomy on my neck and shoulders.  Perhaps, fortunate for me, I knew the principles and knew what was possible, so I could fully participate and had great expectation of complete pain relief and return of range of motion.  I was not disappointed.  Your knowledge and skill were self-evident and supreme.  Thank you for sharing your gifts with me!

'Directs energy for relief'

Picture
Rachelle is in sync with Eastern philosophies regarding body aches and pains and their relationships to pressure points, chakras and psyche. She is a master at diagnostics and executing treatment by directing energy to soothe physical discomfort. She is a good soul and her touch is  amazing! You must try for yourself!!

'Rachelle works from the heart'

Picture
My treatment session with Rachelle gave me so much needed relief. Rachelle works intuitively and from the heart. She went out of her way to accommodate my vertigo by placing a special pillow to make me feel more comfortable. She is very observant with vast knowledge about different healing modalities.  All in all, Rachelle will definitely put you "Back in Motion" in no time, with a delightful sense of humor she shares generously!
