Regaining body function with the support of essential oils

3/8/2014

Nick had come out of brain surgery, following a motorcycle accident. His left side was paralyzed. There was zero movement on the left foot and leg. Being a certified foot reflexologist and licensed massage therapist, I worked  the tops of his toes on both feet (where the brain is located) and administered Young Living essential oils of Valor, frankincense and Brain Power which are known to support brain function. I worked on his feet daily for one hour.

In the second week he was still unconscious;  I continued  the same treatment. As I was working the toes, I noticed movement. I asked Nick to move his toes again, and he waved at me with his toes!  I couldn't believe it! Then I asked him to spread his toes, and he did. That was the beginning of his total recovery! Doctors and nurses said, "Whatever you are doing, keep doing it!" He regained total use of his left leg, and is now walking.

His left arm and hand is another story. He acquired much pain in his biceps, so I massaged PanAway, and Aroma Siez oil blends into his arm. He stopped taking prescribed meds for pain, and found that the PanAway  relieved the pain without side effects. He is now able to lift his left arm without pain, and movement is coming back into the hand. I worked him daily for two and a half months. And his functioning has returned.

If I wasn't convinced about the power of these pure unadulterated essential oils by Young Living then I am now! I am extremely thankful I was able to help a friend.

Happy Easter Dr. Javed. So happy to hear he is coming out. Its been a year...so who knows what state the brain is in or the injuries. Since my situation was immediate to the brain surgery and condition, I did foot reflexology on the toes which corresponds with the brain. I found Brain Power, Valor and frankenscence extremely helpful to his recovery. I worked his feet daily for 2 and half months and placed oils so he could take in what was infused in the room. I use Young Living essential oils. You could purchase these oils and use my # 169864 to order directly and find a certified reflexologist to work his feet and massage the rest of his body. Since I don't know the specific condition its hard to suggest what you should do, but I wish you iope and encouragement that this will be beneficial for him. Thanks for contacting me. Rachelle

First of all, I am not a doctor, and I am not saying the oils Cure anything, But, they are helpful in promoting physical function. You can pull up the web of Young living.com.or get the # directly to call them and use my number, they should be able to mail them directly to you.#169864
Use 1 drop at a time.massage in areas. Try to find an asian person who might do foot reflexology or medically trained massage therapist who can help you. Work gently areas of neck, behind ears, toes of feet, side of feet from big toe to heal on the side of the foot. Always wash hands with soap to remove oils from hands. water intensifies the oil. keep away from eyes. How long ago did this happen?good luck. You can see all the products sold by young living.Good luck.let me know what happens.

It wopuld be very advantageous for him to receive massage therapy on the whole body, acupuncture would also be very helpful. do you live in an area where you can find such people? Do you have healers by you? read to him, tell him jokes, communicate through his feet. when you ask him a question he can answer yes or no by moving his toes. If you get any movement ...this is hopeful. Let me know. Peace be with you.

I am new to the concept of essential oils, but have found that I have my favorites and have enjoyed the benefits. There are a few certain scents I don't especially care for, but I assume that there is a work around for that.

Rachelle was referred to me by my Physical Therapist. I had only lived here a few days after moving from Chicago. I had a 3-level cervical fusion in March 2017 and sadly am not pain-free. Rachelle completed a very thorough evaluation before her customized massage. I felt great afterwards :) Definitely will be a repeat patient at Back in Motion Massage Therapy.

Hi Tiur,
Thanks for contacting me. The oils don't cure anything, but they support body functions. There is no cure for mental retardation , or Down's Syndrome. That's from an extra chromosome.
Depending on how recent the stroke was, and what area it effected. Can use Pure essential oils that support brain function. Like pepperment, cypress, and heliichrysum, these can be inhaled, and placed on the skin, (place on pads of toes and bottoms of feet ) and place behind neck . I recommend finding a foot reflexologist, or acupuncturist to assist with this. My prayers are sent your way.

Thank you for your quick response ! One of my relatives, a teenage, 16 yo, when she was a baby got high fever and diarrhea several times. Apparently it impacts her cognitive and learning. She talks unclearly and writes so slowly. Despite of her weakness, her parents still put her in common school. Can it be helped by Eos? Thank you!

Hi Josh or Tia, Can't tell about who I'm writing. When dping acupressure, or massage gently use cypress oil and layer Peppermint over it and gently work upward from the ankle upwards and massage each oil up the leg. This helps with circulation and it will keep the QI moving. How long ago did the stroke happen, and what areas were effected? You might you tube acupressure with Michael Gach for support with acupressure pts. Thanks for contacting me and good luck.

Hi Judy,
I'm sorry I can't advise you about that. Its our of my scope of practice. But you could seek an aromatherapist or a naturalpath near you. There are many books now written on the use and benefits of essenial oils, so I would start there and maybe see an acupuncturist also. Good luck and sorry for not responding sooner. I just discovered this note from you now 10/26/19! I was never notified. Take care

Hello Ms. RACHELLE and everyone, hope this finds you well,
I got a stroke and an internal carotid artery stenosis six months ago, 37 years old, 174 cm, 70 kgs, single with no kids. Ex heavy smoker ( quit smoking a month and half ago, lasted for 7 years), ex vegan (lasted for four years), and ex catch wrestler. Having L-arginine supplement for endothelial health and sea buckthorn oil mixed with variety of Chinese herbs softgels for blood circulation and got mindlabpro nootropics capsules for the worst times and thinking of using vinpocetine and/or cognizin citicoline. Got some essential oils from kis oils including lavender, lemon grass, sweet orange, eucalyptus, tea tree, lomen, frankincense, and peppermint. And I got a diffuser for using them at room and inhaling. Do you please suggest me to get any particular kind of essential oils for stroke recovery. Besides the weakness that I got on the left side of my body, I lack focusing, patience, proper Breathing and get stressed out and anxious easily, and got some trouble falling asleep at night.
Best regards
Have a blessed day :)

Hi Khaled, Sorry for the delay in responding to you. I just noticed your respone now 10/26/19! I was not notified. I am so sorry you are going through so many difficulties. But proud of you for taking control of your health and trying a healthier way to help yourself through supplements, and diet. add exercise and meditation to aid with stress and anxiety. You might want to try a meet up group for young stroke survivors for support. I suggest you check out some wonderful books at the library on aromatherapy and learn all about the oils and their benefits. Different companies make these oils from the plants. They should be pure, therapeutic and organic.Peppermint, rosemary are great for helping with brain fog, fatigue, and mental clarity. For stress and anxiety, I use roman chamomile, lavender, vetiver to calm down and aid stress and anxiety. So I wish you luck and continued success learning about these amazing natural plant medicine that is available to us without bad side effects.Rachelle

Hi March, Thanks for contacting me. Im not sure I understand your question. These oils, one drop at a time is placed behind the rim of the ear, , along sides of the neck, back of the neck where the brain stem is and top and around head. Aids headaches and mental clarity.Wjhen valor is used on drop , wait a minute and add a drop of the nect oil, and lay it on right over the other oil. It synergizes and works beautifully. For safety purposes, always wash your hands with real bar of soap fat removes oil. I hope this answers your question. These oils such as valor and brain power are blends , and they are produced at young living oils.com, If you have any further questions I would be glad to offer more information. If you are in the Cleveland, Oh area, come in for an appointment to experience them.
Best regards,
Rachelle @ Back in motion massage therapy.

My husband had a stroke in April. He has been taking Physical and Occupational therapy. He is unable to move his left side(arm, hand, fingers, leg, toes and foot) He has pain in the left shoulder and wrist. Would Valor, Brainpower and Franckincense be good oils to massage with?
